TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1.          CHECK-IN and CHECK/OUT                                                                                                   

Check in time: 14h00 to 17h00.                                                                                                  

After 17h00 only if arranged and confirmed before 17h00 by the office.

Late arrivals after 20h00 will incur a surcharge of R100.00.                                                                 

Check out time: 8h00 to 10h00 on date of departure.                                                                   

No late departures are allowed and will incur a surcharge of R 100.00 per hour or part Thereof, unless agreed upon by prior arrangement.

2.         PARKING                                                                                                                            

Please use the allocated parking for your vehicle.            

Please park between the lines.          

Please note that there are no parking available for any visitors inside the property.

3.         SMOKING POLICY                                                                                                                         

We have a strictly NO SMOKING policy on the premises.                

Any guests or visitors caught smoking in rooms, buildings or premises will be fined 150.00 and will be asked to leave.                                                                                 Any costs incurred to remove all evidence of smoke such as: purifying the air, dry cleaning of curtains and upholstery or damages to furniture and linen will be charged to the guest.

4.         PET POLICY                                                                                                                                    

Although there are pets on the property no other pets are permitted in the rooms or the property.

5.         DAMAGES AND BREAKAGE                                                                                                   

Please take care when staying in our guest house. You are responsible and liable for any breakages and damages which you cause to the accommodation and its contents. Please report any incidents immediately. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may charge you if the damage and/or breakage is significant.

6.         CHILDREN    

Though there might be children in our other long term, self-catering facilities on the property, we do not allow children under the age of 3 in the Manor House.

7.         MEALS  

Hagios House does not have a liquor license and it’s therefore unlawful for alcohol to be sold/served to guests.                                                                                             Breakfast is normally served at 8h00 to 9h00 in the Dining Room and in the vegetable garden, weather permitting, from Monday to Friday and 9h00 to 10h00 Saturday to Sunday and on public holidays.      

A combination of both Continental and English breakfast is served on all days.  

All breakfasts are self-service and served buffet style.          

Pre-packed continental breakfast option can be arranged for business guests who have early business commitments. These must be arranged upon check-in.                                                              

8.         ACCESS AND SECURITY          

All guestrooms have private entrances. These are to be used at all times. All inside access doors are for housekeeping and maintenance staff.                                     Please ensure that you have your room keys with you and that your room is locked when not in the room.                                                                                                     A remote will be issued for access to and from the property.   

Keys and remotes, lost, misplaced or not handed in will be charged for at: R450 for remote and R150 for keys.                                                                            

The Manor House will be opened at 6h30 each morning Monday to Friday and at 7h30 on weekends and public holidays.

The Manor House will be locked at 20h00 each evening.

                       

9.         FACILITIES                                                                                                                                            

Swimming Pool: All guests are welcome to use the swimming pool, pool surround and pool pavilion at their own risk unless booked for an event.                                   The Pool area is serviced between 7h00 to 8h45 daily and is available for use from 9h00 to 17h00 daily.                                                                                                         Pool towels are available on request as part of the Housekeeping service. Please notify the Front Office upon check-in should you require pool towels. (One Towel per guest) Please do not use the white towels in your room at the pool. Please return pool towels to the room for housekeeping and stock control for each guest.             Please note that other guests from the self-catering units have different towels to the Manor House                                                                                                           

Dining Room: This area is only for use during meal times.

Library: Guests are welcome to read or relax in Library throughout the day until the Manor House is closed at 20h00.  

Garden: The main lawn and surrounding gardens are to be enjoyed by all. The gardens surrounding the self-catering units are private and for the use of those occupants/guests only.    

Service pathways are for the staff only.    

                                                                                                                

10.        VISITORS                                     

Please take note that this is a private property- and right of admission is reserved. We cater for business people, tourists, both local and abroad, from young to old. As such we would like to afford each a reputable, safe, peaceful and tranquil stay in a  professional establishment.                                                                                       The property, the guesthouse and all the facilities are for the occupants and confirmed booked guests only.                                                                                                   No additional guests/visitors/friends/colleagues/husband/wives/girlfriend/boyfriend are allowed on property.                                                                                            Should you need to bring an outside visitor onto the property for any reason whatsoever, please first obtain approval from the office.                                                        Visitor must, upon arrival, contact the office for gate access and sign-in.

NO VISITORS ARE ALLOWED IN ROOMS.                

Public areas may be used for this purpose, taking into consideration the use of same area by other paying guests.                                                                                        No visitors are allowed after 20h00.      

                                                                                                

11.         RIGHT OF ADMISSION                                                                                                                       

Private property – ROAR – Right of admission reserved Hagios House has the right to refuse to accommodate the any and all guests if:  

- the booking was made by fraudulent means  

- the booking has been altered by anyone other than management or representative.

- person checking in is not in possession of :  ID or passport and credit card

- person is below the age of 18 years of age and unaccompanied by adult  

12.        INDEMNITY                                      

While every reasonable precaution has been taken to ensure the safety of our guests and their possessions, the:                                                                                      “Guests and their visitors enter the premises at their own risk. Neither the owners nor their representative, staff or agents are liable for loss or damage to guest’s or visitor’s property, nor for injury or death of any guests or visitors, whether or not such loss, damage, injury or death is as a result of the negligence of the owners and/or their representatives, staff or agents.”’
